Pogues 10/11/06 set list

Here is the set list as best I can remember it for all those who are interested-the order is not 100% right but these where all the songs played. Overall this was one of the best shows Ive ever seen. Some notes on other things I remember two days after the Fact: Shane annouced Spider was getting Married this Sunday... No one understood what he said so Spider reannouced it later in the Show. Also ended up going to show with TW, as new shows were added, so I sold my first ticket and bought two new ones a couple weeks back.

...The song playing when they took the stage was Straight to Hell, which was deliberate as it started to play just as the lights went down. A nice touch. Also makes me think Im not far off on my musings of the nature of the pogues/shane and a sort of post neocolonialism.

Overall Shane was strong, but started out pretty rough, fucked up a few things in the begining of the show but ended the whole thing in grand fashion.

Ok meeting TW and friend in a little for Clap your Hands Say Yeah show tonight. Its been a busy week.
