wanted to note one thing that I suggest every cheak out. A group called Antony and the Johnsons get two thumbs from me. Antony is a transgendered singer painist whose been playing in New York for a while now with a voice like ive not heard before. His new album "I am a Bird Now" is great- Suffice to say, its very simple and mellow- Lou Reed, and Boy George both show up on the album. The Lyrics are sparce but all information needed is given, much of the subjects surrounds gender identity (such as "one day i'll grow up to be a women") but also darker fears of death. had the chance to see his act at the Great American Music Hall last night with AM. It was bar none the best show Ive seen for a few years now. The Highlight for me was a rendention of Candy Says which slayed me-
